Full coach note

Readiness is 83.7 — that's a strong green light, Sam. Sleep and subjective feel are both up, load component is good. This is a real training day, not a maintenance day. Monday was a full squat-hinge-press-pull session. Two days of running and swimming since then. Pattern variety today follows the same template but we're nudging volume up slightly — 4 sets on the big compounds (squat and RDL) instead of 3, which is right for mid-accumulation. Total working sets land under 25 and well within weekly MRV for every muscle group. No working loads are logged for any lift yet. That's fine — start each lift conservatively, build up with warm-up sets, and note what you used for your top working sets. That data becomes the baseline we build from next week. Don't let the lack of a number push you to guess too heavy. RPE 6-7 means 2-3 reps still clearly available — if you're grinding, drop the weight. The isolation work at the end (curls and tricep extensions) is supersetted to keep you inside 75 minutes. Move between them with about 60 seconds rest — you're not recovering a max effort, you're just accumulating volume efficiently. Your bench goal (bodyweight for reps) is a slow burn — but today's 3 sets of 10-12 at moderate load is exactly the right investment. Building the aerobic base in the marathon phase and picking up consistent strength work adds up fast. This kind of strength work is building lasting capability — your long game. Volume has been ramping for two weeks, which is intentional for week 6-7 of base. But progress comes from absorbing the work, not just doing it. If anything feels off — heavy legs from the run, unusual shoulder tightness, poor sleep — trim a set from the accessories, not the compounds. 71°F and cloudy outside — a perfect morning to be in the gym. Comfortable conditions if you want to walk between sessions or grab a quick stride. Fuel this one well. A proper breakfast 1-2 hours out makes a real difference on a full-body session like this. Get good protein in after to support recovery. A plate built from whole foods will serve you better than anything pre-packaged — keep it simple.

Recorded adjustment summary

Recorded athlete request

I have a dull ache under load in my left shoulder during the Barbell Bench Press. Can we change it?

Coach action

Barbell Bench Press Dumbbell Chest Press

This change responds to a dull ache under load in the left shoulder while keeping the prescribed sets, reps, and intensity.

Recorded outcome

Accepted. The conversation engine selected the Barbell Bench Press to Dumbbell Chest Press substitution; the production tool persisted it. This public rehearsal shows the exercise identity only.

Two jobs, kept separate

Judgment you can inspect. Coaching you can feel.

Arithmetic remains deterministic. The conversation remains human.

On the record

Specific proof. No performance theater.

One synthetic record, the real product path, and limits stated before you ask.

Real pipeline

Synthetic athlete. Production behavior.

31 days of fabricated signals produced 8 sessions and 129 prescribed movements across 8 mornings.

Deterministic guard

Caught by the engine.

A separate unsafe synthetic candidate (back_pain=true; exercises=Back Squat) was passed through the real checker. It returned back_pain_gate: Exercise "Back Squat" loads the spine but back pain is flagged.

Honest limit

Not a study. Not at scale.

This record is pinned to Friday 24 July. It describes one synthetic athlete and an invite-only system, not a population result.
